According to NHL.com statistics, 324 goalies have played at least one game against the Florida Panthers in 32 seasons, with 252 of them going on to secure a victory. Surprisingly, despite having the most wins, the Tampa Bay Lightning (77-67-10-13) and Carolina Hurricanes (75-50-11-11) do not boast the winningest goalie against the Panthers.

Heading into the 2026-27 season, 13 clubs have won at least 50 games versus Florida, with the Winnipeg Jets, formerly the Atlanta Thrashers, the only club on the list from the Western Conference. Whether it’s shortened seasons or realigned divisions, fans may be surprised to see names on this list from outside the current Atlantic Division. Today, we discuss the top 10 goalies with the most wins in the regular season against the Panthers.

10. Kari Lehtonen (16-9-0-5) .923 SV% - 2.48 GAA

There is actually a three-way tie for the final spot on this list between Kari Lehtonen, Ryan Miller, and former Panthers netminder Jose Theodore. Lehtonen gets the nod here for three reasons: first, he played the most minutes, 1,862:57 over the other two, produced the best SV%, and went to battle against Florida as a member of the Thrashers in the old Southwest Division. During his career, Lehtonen defeated the Washington Capitals 18 times, followed by the Los Angeles Kings and the Panthers at 16 each.

9. Craig Anderson (17-11-0-2) .918 SV% - 2.65 GAA

Craig Anderson played in the NHL for 20 years, suiting up for six teams, including the Panthers from 2006-2009. As a long-time member of the Ottawa Senators, he skated against Florida for many seasons, collecting 17 wins, the third-most against any opponent behind the Toronto Maple Leafs (21) and Buffalo Sabres (20).

8. Cam Ward (18-14-0-3) .907 SV% - 2.78 GAA

Cam Ward is one of two Conn Smythe Trophy winners on the list, but isn’t the only one with his name inscribed on the Stanley Cup. As the goalie for the Carolina Hurricanes for 14 seasons, Ward often faced the Panthers, collecting 18 wins against his former Southeast rival. With 334 wins on this resume, it’s no surprise to see his 18 over the Panthers rank seventh-most against opponents.

7. Marc-Andre Fleury (18-11-0-2) .918 SV% - 2.42 GAA

Marc-Andre Fleury may have the second most wins all-time, and despite spending the majority of his career in the Eastern Conference, he only finds himself seventh on this list. The future Hall of Famer collected 575 wins with 18 coming against the Panthers over 21 seasons. Considering how stellar Fleury was against Metropolitan Division rivals, it wouldn’t shock anyone to know that Florida victories are only the 16th most against a single opponent.

6. Andrei Vasilevskiy (20-15-0-1) .914 SV% - 2.85 GAA

Right now, Tampa Bay Lightning netminder Andrei Vasilevskiy is the only active netminder on the list and is only one victory away from moving into a tie for the fifth spot. With a 20-15-0-1 record in the regular season, he also finds himself as the winningest goalie against the Panthers in playoff history, with an even 10-10 record. Despite a combined 30-25-0-1 record, he is still quite a few wins away from the top spot, held by a Hall of Famer. Overall, Vasilevskiy hasn’t beaten any NHL club more than the Panthers.

5. Dominic Hasek (21-7-2-0) .932 SV% - 1.99 GAA

As arguably one of the greatest goalies of all time, it is no surprise to see Dominic Hasek near the top of this list. Despite never playing in the same division as the Panthers, he managed to compile 21 wins against the club. As a multi-time Hart, Vezina, and Stanley Cup winner, Hasek dominated the Eastern Conference for more than a decade, with the majority of his victories coming against those clubs, including Florida, fifth on the list.

4. Tuukka Rask (22-6-0-2) .939 SV% - 1.78 GAA

Not only is Tuukka Rask the winningest goalie in Boston Bruins history, but he’s one of the few netminders to ever record more than 20 wins against the Panthers. Moreover, among goalies to play at least 30 games against Florida, Rask has the highest SV% and lowest GAA. Throughout his 15 seasons with the Black and Gold, he didn’t torment any other club as he did with the Panthers, with his 22 victories being a career-high against any opponent.

3. Olaf Kolzig (23-19-3-3) .923 SV% - 2.36 GAA

It is no surprise that Olaf Kolzig is one of the most successful goalies to ever play against the Panthers. As the long-time puckstopper with the Washington Capitals, he often faced Florida, earning 23 victories. Kolzig was a former first-round pick and one of the few players to ever make it to the NHL from South Africa; he actually defeated three other teams more than the Panthers.

2. Henrik Lundqvist (26-11-0-4) .926 SV% - 2.22 GAA

Henrik Lundqvist is the latest member of this list to enter the Hockey Hall of Fame. As the winningest goalie from Sweden and Europe, he won almost everything in professional hockey except a Stanley Cup. During his 15 seasons with the New York Rangers, The King earned 26 wins against the Panthers, which is only the seventh most against any opponent. Right now, former Florida goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is only three wins away from overtaking Lundqvist for the sixth most wins in NHL history.

1. Martin Brodeur (41-16-7-2) .915 SV% - 2.06 GAA

At the top of the list for most wins against the Panthers is none other than the NHL’s win leader and three-time Stanley Cup winner, Martin Brodeur. Statistically, with 41 wins over 22 seasons, 5.9% of his career wins (691) came versus Florida. Throughout his legendary career, Brodeur won at least 40 games against seven clubs, with the Panthers ranking sixth on the list. In the playoffs, Brodeur was near perfect with an 8-2 record against Florida. As a long-time member of the New Jersey Devils, he defeated the New York Islanders (52) and Philadelphia Flyers (50) more than any other team.
