The Brandywine Valley SPCA, serving PA, DE, NJ, and DC, sponsored and hosted this year’s Stanley Pup, a fun opportunity to showcase adoptable dogs from their various locations in the Northeast. These lovable dogs were named after NHL stars from each of the 32 teams, with their shenanigans taking place on TruTV, HBO Max, NHL YouTube, and the NHL Network from June 8 - 10.

This year, the Florida Panthers’ representative is Coco Puffs, who became “Brad Marchound” for the Stanley Pup. According to his profile, he’s 16 weeks old and is a mixed breed who is “sweet, loyal, and calm” and the “perfect companion for cozy nights and quiet walks.”

Since the Stanley Pup, 31 out of the 32 dogs featured in the event have been adopted, except Coco Puffs, aka “Brad Marchound”. On Wednesday, this heartbreaking news began to spread across social media, with many users calling upon Panthers fans to step up and find this wonderful dog his forever home.

At one point in the afternoon, the campaign to find Coco Puffs a home found a serious backer, when the Panthers organization themselves retweeted Brandywine Valley’s post, in hopes of finding “Brad Marchound” a home.

Those interested in Coco Puffs, aka “Brad Marchound,” can submit their adoption application through the SPCA’s Everyday Adoption Center in Dover, DE. If anyone is unable to adopt but wishes to donate, they can do so at the following link: Stanley Pup Donation.
