Florida Panthers Select Logan Hutsko with the 89th Pick

The Florida Panthers acquired pick #89 from the Nashville Predators, selecting forward Logan Hutsko from Boston College.

The 5’10”, 172lb centerman/winger featured in 37 NCAA games with Boston College, recording 12G, 19A, and 31 points. The season before, he played in the USHL with USNTDP Juniors, tallying one assist in just two games played.

Throughout his NCAA hockey career, Hutsko was named to the NCAA (Hockey East) All-Rookie Team, as well as awarded the NCAA (Hockey East) Rookie of the Year award and the NCAA (Hockey East) Reg. Season Championship.

Internationally, Logan took part in the US National Development Program (USDP), playing with the U.S. National Under-18 Team. During his time spent at the USDP, Hutsko displayed two points (2A) in nine contests.

Logan missed a ton of games with the U.S. National Under-17 Team (USDP) suffering a broken a neck. Although, things got better for the youngster as he closed out the season with a hat-trick performance.
