Panthers top pick Aaron Ekblad sustained a concussion while playing in the IIHF Junior’s Tournament yesterday. He is expected to be healthy in time for training and the Panthers and Team Canada agreed that he should sit out the rest of the tournament.

Last years NHL Stadium Series was a smashing success and it was announced yesterday that the Sharks and Kings will face each other at the newly built Levi’s Stadium. It should be a great game considering what the Kings did to the Sharks during the playoffs last season.

In wake of the Kimmo Timonen injury news the Flyers went out and signed Michael Del Zotto to a one-year contract worth $1.3 million. Broad Street Buzz looks into the signing.
