Born and raised in Chicago, I grew up a Blackhawks fan.  Still am and always will be.  I am “committed to the Indian”. However since moving to South Florida in 1993 I have followed the Florida Panthers.  I am a passionate fan of hockey and love to talk about it with anyone who will listen/put up with me.  I have many great memories of my time in Chicago, and still have a brick from the old Chicago Stadium which was given to all season ticketholders after it was taken down.

I like my teams to play aggressive, fast, yet with toughness.  I am a bit old school in that regard, but love to see players show their skills too. 

I’m here to spread my insight, opinions, and have fun talking with everyone about our Panthers, and hockey in general as well.  We can talk about whatever you like though.  Other sports, music, which I will sprinkle in once a week to add a little flavor, but we will not be talking about the Pittsburgh Penguins!  At least not positively!  The 1992 Final still hurts!

What I miss about Chicago:  Going to Blackhawk games in the Old Stadium with my brother!

Favorite Panther Moment:  Jacques Martin leaving to coach Montreal!

A Special Panther Moment I’ll Always Remember: When a shot was deflected into the Buffalo Sabres bench and Martin Biron who caught it turned and tossed it to my daughter who was 4 at the time.

The person directly responsible for getting me into hockey was my Dad.  He took me to my first game when I was little. I’ll never forget seeing Bobby Hull, The Golden Jet, in person.  This is a little tribute to my Dad, Nick.  He would have been 85 this year (April 2010).
