Second overall pick Sam Reinhart signed his entry-level contract. With the prospect camp coming up, Reinhart can now look to earning himself a roster spot.

A look at Kris Letang’s shot at ‘redemption’ as his new contract kicks in. Last season was a truly forgettable for Letang, who struggled with his play on the ice, as well as suffered a career-threatening stroke. Letang has the skill to be one of the best defenseman in the league.

Jonathan Drouin will now look to take his skills to the NHL this coming season after dominating the QMJHL the previous two seasons. Drouin has the potential to be one of the dynamic players in the league, and has extra motivation after his former teammate Nathan MacKinnon won the Calder Trophy last season as the league’s top rookie.
