Florida Panthers Sign Jussi Jokinen

The Florida Panthers have signed winger Jussi Jokinen to a 4 year deal worth 16 million. Last season Jokinen posted 57 points in 81 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also posted 10 points in 13 playoff games last year. Jokinen will fit in nicely on the 1st or 2nd line and he will get to play on a roster that also includes fellow Finnish players, Sean Bergenheim and Alexsander Barkov. Jokinen also reportedly is going to love mentoring the young Barkov.

While this is a nice addition there are some red flags. Jokinen was playing along side playerslike James Neal, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in Pittsburgh so his numbers may have been a little bloated because of it. Check out his stats here
