Florida Panthers January Schedule

Fresh off a stellar month of January, the Florida Panthers are staring down a jam-packed January that features 13 games. The Panthers turned their season around in December as they picked up 17 points and compiled a record of 8-5-1. That is a huge improvement over their first two months of the season when they only managed 8 points in October (3-7-2) and 11 points in November (4-8-3).

Florida has already started January in style as they won their first game of the month 5-4 (SO) on January 4th against the Nashville Predators. The game, held at the BB&T Center was the first of only four home games this month for the Panthers. Overall the Panthers will play nine games on the road and only four at home. They will have two three-game road trips and one four-game road trip at the end of the month that will extend into February.

The Panthers will only play one back-to-back this month, Jan 20-21, on the road against the Pittsburgh Penguins and Buffalo Sabres. Six games will be against Atlantic Division foes (MTL, BUF x2, DET, BOS, TOR) four will be against Metro teams (NJ, NYI, CAR, PIT) and three will be against the West (NSH, SJ, COL).
