1. Nick Bjugstad

Nick Bjugstad sustained a concussion in the final game of the Panthers rookie camp on September 8th. The concussion kept him out of training camp and out of the first six games of the season. Bjugstad made his Panther debut last season after his year with the Minnesota Golden Gophers wrapped up. He played 11 games with the Panthers recording one goal and zero assists. The 21-year-old Bjugstad projects as a top-six center but tonight he will probably slot into the fourth line center spot bumping Shawn Matthias to a wing.
