2012-13 Season:
Jonathan Huberdeau had a stellar rookie season. His 31 points (14-17-31) tied him with Nail Yakupov for the rookie scoring title. His impressive campaign was rewarded with the Calder Memorial Trophy given to the NHL’s Rookie of the Year.
2013-14 Projection:
The ceiling for Jonathan Huberdeau is high. How high still remains to be seen. He was playing with a hip injury for most of last year and after off-season surgery he should be at full strength to start the season. If all goes well for the 20-year-old, he could make a run at 30 goals and 50-70 points.
