2012-13 Season: 

Scottie Upshall continued his struggles to stay healthy last season. He was only able to play in 27 games while missing time with an assortment of injuries. The Panthers gave Upshall a four-year $14 million contract prior to the 2011-12 season and two years into that deal, he has only managed to score ten points in 53 games.

2013-14 Projection:

Healthy at the start of the season, the Panthers are hoping Upshall has put his injury troubles behind him. A former first round draft pick, Upshall has the skill to be a productive forward but the results have been hard to come by. If he can stay healthy for most of the season he could threaten to score 20 but at this point a full season of health seems unlikely.
