Panthers' Poll: Jonathan Huberdeau

Yesterday I wrote extensively about what we can expect next year from Jonathan Huberbeau. I dug through some numbers to come up with an idea of how players who have had strong rookie campaigns historically perform in their sophomore season. What I discovered was players who produce right out of the gate in year one, typically see about a 10% improvement to their stats in year two. I concluded that if Jonathan Huberdeau has a perfectly average second year, his numbers will look like this: 26 goals, 32 assists, 58 points.

As I mentioned in the piece, my predictions for Huberdeau are far from air-tight and my intent with them was, more than anything, to start an interesting conversation.
