Happy Wednesday Panther fans! I hope you are all spending your time wisely, as in making plans for the Fourth of July while pretending to be productive at work. For those of you who need a break from all that procrastinating, you are in luck, because there is plenty happening around the Panthers-verse. Here is a look at all the latest Panthers news and rumors.

This probably is a bit disappointing to hear but realistically speaking it is probably the best strategy for the Panthers to take. Let’s call this the not-getting-too-drunk-too-early-in-the-party-so-at-the-end-of-the-night-you-can-pick-up-one-of-the-pretty-girls-who-hasn’t-yet-found-a-match-strategy.

  • If the Panthers do in fact take a quiet approach to the start of free agency, that would probably mean they will not be too involved with either Vincent Lecavalier or Ilya Bryzgalov. (Especially since Lecavalier has already agreed to a deal with the Flyers)
