Florida Panthers (2-6-0) at Buffalo Sabres (3-4-1)

The Panthers begin a brutal road stretch today in Buffalo, playing a 3:00 PM matinee. Over the next week, the Panthers will take on Buffalo, Winnipeg, Philadelphia and Washington. Florida is coming off its second win of the season beating the Jets 6-3 Thursday night. Hopefully that win will help set the tone for the upcoming games.

Florida should receive an offensive boost today with the return of Stephen Weiss. His return means the Panthers will finally have their top line of Fleischmann-Weiss-Versteeg back at full health. Here is the lineup I expect to see today in Buffalo:

Tomas Fleischmann-Stephen Weiss-Kris Versteeg

Jonathan Huberdeau-Drew Shore-Peter Mueller

Tomas Kopecky-Marcel Goc-Alex Kovalev

George Parros-Shawn Matthias-Jack Skille

Brian Campbell-Filip Kuba

Dmitry Kulikov-Mike Weaver

Keaton Ellerby-Tyson Strachan
