The East Coast Hockey League affiliate of the Florida Panthers… the Cincinnati Cyclones played two games over the weekend against the same team. The Fort Wayne Komets lost Saturday’s game 5-2 when they exploded in the 3rd period for 4 goals. Sunday’s game saw the Cyclones lose in overtime 3-2.
Hockey is in my blood, and it always will be. The NHL is not the only game in town. From kids in elementary school to the big kids in colleges, and the ones in the "minor league affiliates" of the major teams hoping to make it to the "big leagues"... you can bet I am following them. Hockey is hockey - It doesn't matter what level. The ones watched today... could be the stars of tomorrow. Drop The Puck!
