It is official.  We are one step closer to a “season”.  Yes, season in quotes, as I was one of the ones hoping the lockout continued as I don’t believe in rushing just have a short season.  Reports have it that Gary Bettman caved in, and the owners wanted to get back to playing.  Quotes from some players around the league are saying play is going to be sloppy, and it is going to take some time to get back to into a groove.  Players are next to approve the new CBA, and reports are the season will begin January 19th for all teams.  This is providing players can vote by Saturday to approve it…  which they will.

With the above being said, I welcome back the NHL to doing what they do best…  Now, DROP THE PUCK!
