News From The Telephone – 12/30/12

Sometimes I believe my phone reports on stuff that already is known… LOL

The phone the other day reported the Los Angeles Kings won the 2012 Stanley Cup, but have yet to had the opportunity to defend it due to the lockout.  This is news?  Let’s move on…

The NHL is one step closer to canceling the entire season as a week ago, they canceled all games through January 14th.  Continuing on…

News from the telephone this week reported the NHL has submitted a new offer to the NHLPA aimed at ending the lockout, and the labor impasse.  The NHL is therefore set to resume negotiations and meet with the NHLPA.  They did not meet face to face to face, but have had informal discussions through fact finding telephone discussions.

and, there you have it – another News from the Telephone post.
