The Cincinnati Cyclones tried to overcome a 4-1 deficit against the Tampa Bay Lightning’s ECHL affiliate – Florida Everblades. It almost looked like they would do it, but it fell short in the 3rd period. It showed that it is not the quantity of shots on goals that wins games, but it also has to quality shots that have an excellent chance of going into the opposition’s net. Florida shot 22 times – 6 in the first, 14 in the second, and only 2 in the third period. For the Cyclones, the shots were 8 in the first and second periods, but doubled that to 16 shots in the third period.
Florida led the Cyclones 4-1 after two periods of play, but when it was all said and done, the final score was 4-3. Nice try Cyclones! Let’s try to win against the Everblades tomorrow night (12-14-12).
