NHL Lockout Talks Angrily Break Off

Well hockey fans, things don’t look like they’ll be solved anytime soon after all.

As you may already know both sides met for about an hour yesterday evening, this time with Commissioner Gary Bettman and Union Head Donald Fehr both present. The Union then presented a new proposal to the league and it was quickly rejected. No new talks are scheduled as well. (Source: NHL)

Where do we go from here?

Actually, that’s a great question. It sounds like, per John Shannon’s Twitter, another round of games will probably be cancelled within the next few days. Sad, I know but so goes this process.

Anyways, I know we all hoped to have NHL hockey back in time for Christmas but I’m just going to say it shouldn’t be expected. Regardless, I hope everyone has a great holiday season and maybe we’ll get NHL hockey back sometime in 2013. No, I don’t expect it but I certainly hope for it.

Until next time, say it with me Panther fans, WE. SEE. RED!!!
