A Cincinnati Cyclones Update

The East Coast Hockey League affiliate of the Florida Panthers is the Cincinnati Cyclones.  The affiliate is shared between the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League, San Antonio Rampage, and Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

A pair of pre-season games were played between the Wheeling Nailers and the Cincinnati Cyclones on October 5th and 7th.  The first game was won by the Cyclones 3-2, but they lost the second one 9-4 (not a good night for the Cyclones).

The regular season opened in Cincinnati against the Wheeling Nailers on October 13th, and was worn by a score of 3-2.

A pair of back-to-back games were played on October 19th and 20th against the Toledo Walleye.  The Cyclones lost the game 3-2.  The following night, back on home ice against the Trenton Titans, the outcome was different – 6-4 in favor of the Cyclones.

Last weekend, October 26th and 27th, the Cyclones played the Elmira Jackals.  In Cyclone fashion, they split the outcome of the games.  The game on the 26th was won by them, 3-2.  The following night, they lost by the same final score.

This Wednesday… Halloween night – The Cyclones will host the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30pm.
