Hockey fans are a passionate lot. Hockey fans want news, information, and want to know what’s going on, not only with their team, but in the NHL. Here at The Rat Trick our readership has grown immensely since the site first started back in September of 2009. Not only do we have our own fans in Florida visiting our site on a daily basis, but there are a large number of fans from other cities and even countries that stop by as well. In addition to that the world of Twitter has certainly affected us in a positive way. I can’t tell you how many great friends that I’ve made because of Twitter, and how many people have found this site from it as well. Our goal has always been to provide news, opinions, reviews, reports with each writers own taste. We will continue to do that, and want to make sure that you know how to engage with us.
To reach any of us on Twitter just make sure you are following:
@davidlasster: David Lasseter
@joshluecht: Josh Luecht
@PatrickRatTrick: Patrick McLaughlin
@GreatScottsman: Scott Mullin
@davidbub_2: David Rodriguez
@peejlewiz: Page Lewis
@gabbykiger: Gabby Kiger
@AdamReid: Adam Reid.

@FlaPanthers: The Official Florida Panther Twitter account is also a Twitter account you should be following.
Communicating with us on Twitter isn’t the only way to interact. You are more than welcome to leave comments on any and all articles on the site that we publish. Click on the comment tab that is on every article, and get the conversation going. We always answer back, and it’s a great way to talk hockey.
We also have a Facebook Fan Page, that will be updated throughout the day with Panther news, notes, articles of interest, and photos and videos. We encourage you to visit our Facebook page, “like us”, and go there often to see what we’re up to. We also encourage you to post your own photos from practices or games that you attend as well. We will also be posting other news of interest about the NHL that we feel you need to know about. We can’t put everything on our site, so come on by and visit our Facebook page too.
The Panther community also has a number of other places to find information about what’s going on. The Florida Panther official Facebook page, the Florida Panther Community Calender, and the Florida Panther Fan Zone.
And of course the Florida Panthers Foundation, where the mission is to fight pediatric cancer.
In case you didn’t know there is a FanSided app for smart phones. Just search the market for FanSided and you’ll see the purple hand pointing up for the icon. Once downloaded, you can personalize it with your favorite sports and teams. You can follow as many as you want, and it sends an update to your phone as soon as an article is published on that site. This app lets you get the latest articles from any sport, any team. A great way to stay connected.
It’s been an absolute pleasure to be here for you, and we hope that you continue coming back. While you’re at it, tell your friends!
Thanks and have a great day! Enjoy the break, cause when the Panthers come back it’s going to be a fun and exciting ride to April!
