Injury Woes Continue. Kulikov and Skille Doubtful For Flyers Game.

At one point this season the Florida Panthers had seven players on the injured list.  The good thing about that if anything is that it was all limited to forwards and not defencemen.  While the seven injured players has drastically been reduced, and almost everyone is back, the Panthers now find themselves with injuries on defence.

Ed Jovanovski went down with a hand injury in the Boston game and is expected to be out a couple months, today it was discovered that defenceman Dmitry Kulikov was injured during a scrum in Satruday night’s game against the Winnipeg Jets, and will most liley miss the game against the Philadelphia Flyers.  In addition, Jack Skille is doubtful for Tuesday’s game as well with his shoulder acting up.

In the event that Kulikov can’t play veteran defenceman Tyler Strachan has been recalled from San Antonio.  Here’s the official announcement from the Florida Panthers on Strachan.

Here’s George Richards with more from today’s practice as well.
