Saturday Song Of The Week: The Black Keys

The Black Keys are an American Rock duo consisting of vocalist and guitarist Dan Auerbach, and drummer/producer Patrick Carney that was formed in Akron, Ohio in 2001.  Their debut album The Big Come Up was released in 2002 and was recorded in Patrick Carney’s basement using an old 8 track recorder.

They’ve released seven albums in total with El Camino being their latest.  Their unique blend of blues, garage, and alternative rock has allowed them to sell over 2 million albums so to date in the U.S.

Here’s a live studio performance of their single Lonely Boy from El Camino.
