Today’s music video on New Releases Thursday is Did I Let You Know from the new album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Wednesday afternoon the Florida Panther’s rookies once again met up with the youngsters of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the final rookie pre season game. The young Panthers were victorious this time by a score of 4-1 as defenceman Adam Comrie, Colby Robak and goaltender Brian Foster played key roles in the victory. Comrie and Robak each scored goals, while Foster made 32 saves on 33 shots in what was another physical contest. Big names Erik Gudbranson, and Quinton Howden sat out this contest as did Scott Timmins. Jonathan Huberdeau the third overall pick in this summer’s draft let the Panthers in scoring with two goals and two assists for four points and showed his superior skills in a number of situations. If he can add about 15 lbs to his frame, this kid is going to be dangerous.
The young guns of the Panthers who have been rated as being some of the best prospects in the game today make the future a bright one for this hockey club. Within the next couple seasons, we’ll be seeing more of these players becoming permanent fixtures on the NHL roster of Florida and this is indeed a good thing. Today cuts will be made as some players will find out early what their fate is for the upcoming season prior to the official start of training camp on Saturday.
