They Don't Make 'Em Like Chelios Anymore. Source: azhockey.com

REDlines: Fitness and Chelios. August 2nd.

Today’s music videos on Twofer Tuesday are The King And All Of His Men and Lions In Cages by Wolf Gang.

Grit, sandpaper, snarl and Mediterranean blood (something I know about), describe Chris Chelios and his style of play.  For over 20 years he patrolled the blue line in a way we may not see too much of ever again.  An American born player who won numerous Stanley Cups, a Gold Medal and Two Norris Trophies, Cheli was the type of player you hated….hated, to play against, but you loved him if he was on your team.  An open ice hit, a check in the corner, a quick pass up ice, or a fight, Chris gave his all whenever his team needed it.  He kept himself in better shape than many players half his age.  His election to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame is well deserved.  The HHOF is not far behind.
