Daily REDLines: Getting Physical. July 15th

Today’s music choice on Friday Flashback goes back to 1984 for Killing Moon by Echo and The Bunneymen.

It’s the last day of developmental camp and the plan is for me to finally get there myself.  Hopefully you’ll see Dave and me taking notes, photos, and yelling out some instructions from the stands.  Just kidding about the last one.  I’m pretty excited about finally attending and getting a chance to see our future.  From what I keep reading and hearing this is a really good group of kids.  I heard that Thursday’s session involved some physicality and Erik Gudbranson was not only seen, but heard and felt.  This kid as I’ve been saying all along is the real deal.  Also, Alex Petrovic showed his toughness as well.  Defensively our future is looking pretty good.  As for the forwards Rocco Grimaldi has impressed, at least the Rat Trick ladies, and so has Nick Bjugstad.  It’s hard to really tell sometimes with the types of drills that these players are being put through, to see who really is talented and who has work to do.  I think that what you find is the players with the natural ability and talent just stick out.

Hope to see you there today.  Your Friday links after the jump.
