REDLines: Growin' Up. July 13th

Today’s musical choice is Kill For A Dream by Beady Eye.

Yesterday was the first of three days of camp for the “future” of the Florida Panthers.  Three days of drills, skills, and maybe a few thrills depending on what head coach Kevin Dineen has in mind.  Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend.  I have a day job you know, and there’s times my schedule just won’t allow it.  However as you saw from yesterday, Dave was there giving his report, and the Rat Trick household attended.  Here’s a quick analysis from the ladies of the house….unedited:

Gudbranson got big and really matured in his face.  I can’t see him in juniors under any circumstances.  Comrie has the hardest shot.  Our defence is huge!  On offence Rocco is fast and he’s like Booth, always giving 100%.  Pacan, Bgjustsad, Barabosa and Luciani looked good too.  The Italians showed up today!  Cheverie has nice eyebrows according to Little Miss Rat Trick.  Finally this little tidbit was observed:  Dineen has more fire in his little finger than DeBoer has in his whole body.

Next session is Thursday at 9:00 A.M. and Friday at 9:00 A.M. as well.  Based on what I’ve heard and read, I have to believe that Gudbranson will be here as long a contract can get done, which the organization seems confident in.  Also, Nick Bjugstad could surprise enough to get  a shot.
