Saturday Song Of The Week.

Augustana is an American rock band from San Diego, California that was formed in 2002 when Dan Layus brought some of his college friends in Illinois together.  Their first album Midwest Skies and Sleepless Mondays was sort of a flop as it sold only 1000 copies.  The band moved out to Southern California after that and began opening for such groups as The Fray, Switchfoot, Snow Patrol and Counting Crows among others.

Their music has also been heard on numerous television shows like One Tree Hill, Numb3rs, and Friday Night Lights.

They have released three other albums since then with their most recent release, a self titled production that hit the stores in April of this year.

They appeared on the David Letterman show recently performing their new hit single Steal Your Heart.
