Today’s music choice on New Releases Thursday is Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out by The Antlers.
The timing of another trip to Chicago for me probably can’t come at a better time. I won’t need to write anything about the Canucks and their road to the final….for at least a few days….if at all. I’m not at all happy that Vancouver has advanced to the finals. San Jose I thought would have played much better than they did. In the end, they “choked”. The Blackhawks could have played better skating backwards. I give Joe Thornton credit for playing with a separated shoulder. Patrick Marleau stepped up some after JR called him gutless. Missing persons reports have been filed for Dany Heatley…..among others.
The Bruins meanwhile let a game and potentially the series get away from them as they now will be forced to play a game seven against Tampa after losing last night 5-4. Two goals by Martin St. Louis and Teddy Purcell to go along with a tenacious game plan where you could tell the Lightning were going to do everything they could to win this game and force a game seven. Tampa survived a hat trick by David Kreci as well as a late push from Boston to win the game.

CBC does some of the best intro’s to games. But if you read this site often you know that. Here’s another one.
The site will be in good hands while I’m away. My Rat Pack brothers will be here for you. I’ll pop in sometime over the weekend, with a couple things that have already been prepared, but I’m looking forward to the getaway.
