Daily Pucking Grind. Sean Who? May 5th

Today’s musical selection on “New Releases Thursday” is a new song by Cold Cave called Villains of the Moon. Nothing not to like about this one!

Every year at playoff time we wonder who will be the year’s John Druce. Who is going to come from nowhere and display a scoring acumen that has either been dormant, or non existent.  Well this year it seems to be Sean Bergenheim.  Referred to last night on Twitter by someone, I forget who as Sean Bergen-Druce.   Bergenheim a pending UFA is going to create quite a stir come July 1 if Tampa doesn’t sign him.   Is he worthy of the Florida Panthers making an offer?

Bruce Boudreau was asked before last night’s game about his job security. Capitals Insider. Wonder what he thinks now.

Eric Duhatschek from the Globe and Mail thinks that Bruce should stay in Washington.  I’d have to agree.  But you all know there’s at least a 50% chance he doesn’t.
