Today’s obvious musical selection comes from Bruce Springsteen’s album The Rising. I’ve chosen Into The Fire as today’s song, simply for the verse ” May your strength give us strength. May your faith give us faith. May your hope give us hope. May your love give us love”.
I’m not one to talk politics very much, especially here, so I’ll be very brief. As you know Osama Bin Laden has been killed. The announcement was made last night around 11:30 P.M. eastern time. Finally on a day like today….friends come and go in our lives. Some we never see or hear from again, and others come back when you least expect them to. This blog site has made that happen for me and I’m very grateful for that as a very dear friend has become a daily reader. This quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that my friend sent me sums up the situation perfectly:
“Many people will walk in and out of your life, but
only true friends will leave footprints in your heart”
