Daily Pucking Grind. Fresh Start. April 13th.

The NHL Playoffs begin tonight.  All 16 teams get a fresh start to the new season.  The race for the toughest trophy in sports begins.  The musical choice today represents one of the things I like about the playoffs the most.  CBC’s montage’s to the games.  Always doing a fantastic job of putting music to game action.  Here’s how they closed out the 2010 season: CBC’s tribute to the 2010 Playoffs.

And the third overall pick in the NHL Entry Draft goes to The Florida Panthers. Again.  On Frozen Pond.

The Oilers get the first pick in the draft.  Again.  Globe and Mail.

The Panthers are in no rush to hire a new head coach.  Sun Sentinel.

Harvey Fialkov has his list of candidates.  I’ll have mine shortly.
