What A Save! And It's Not Who You Think.

The Kingston Frontenacs faced playoff elimination last night in their game against the Oshawa Generals.  Down three games to none this was a must win game for Kingston to stay alive in the post season.

Future Florida Panther defenceman, Erik Gudbranson came back to recover and made a spectacular save on a shot that would have cut the Frontenacs lead to 5-3.  However Erik’s “save” created a scoring chance that forward Ryan Spooner turned into a goal, giving the Frontenacs a 6-2 lead in the third period.  See for yourself:

Once again a huge thanks to @AnneLaur for supplying me this video.  I think I just might start calling her my inside reporter!

Wait! There’s more!

Erik was also interviewed after the first period of last night’s game.  check out the video, as well as the “playoff haircut” and facial hair he’s sporting.  Can’t wait for this kid to be here next season!
