Today’s music selection is Second Chance by Peter Bjorn and John.
The season winds down as we have only a few games left in the regular season, but for me the thought of next year is exciting for a change. I am truly hoping that Erik Gudbranson will be making his NHL debut in a Florida Panther sweater next season. The 19 year old defenceman has had a interesting season playing for his junior team the Kingston Frontenacs after not being signed by the Florida Panthers before the start of this season. Again, as I have said at least 400 times, I expect to see him with the big club next season.
The big link for today is a story that was forwarded to me by @AnneLaur (again) about Erik. The one thing I love about this kid is his competitive nature as the article will imply. I have sung his praise ever since we drafted him and am looking forward to his future here with the Panthers. Take some time and read this great piece that appeared in Yahoo Sports yesterday.
