You’re not going to sit there and tell me that just because Stephen Weiss sat out the game with a leg injury, that the Florida Panthers couldn’t muster any offence are you? C’mon, the team isn’t that dependent on one guy, especially him. Although, had it not been for the head standing saves made by Tomas Vokoun, last night’s game could have been a lot worse than just a 1-0 shutout. See, Mr. Knowsnothing (wherever you are), it’s not the goaltending. It’s the weak offence. In case you missed Dave’s recap, it’s right here. Here’s the TSN boxscore.
Bright spot? Though he only played 11 minutes, Ryan Carter was probably the most talked about player in last night’s T.V. Broadcast. At one point you had to think that he and Tomas Vokoun were the only one’s playing.
No rest for the these guys as they faceoff tonight against a well rested Chicago Blackhawks team at the United Center in Chicago. Patrick Sharp was injured in the Hawks last game, but the news isn’t too bad. NHL.com. Pre- game will be posted later this afternoon for your reading pleasure.
