Today’s music selection is Every Day Is Exactly The Same by Nine Inch Nails.
Day two of the General Manager’s meetings in Florida concluded with more of the same. Discussions about hits to the head, certain penalties to be enforced more, and a general consensus that the game as fast as it has become, needs to be safer. What has come out of these meetings so far is that the majority of the general managers felt that the Chara hit on Max Pacioretty was a legal hit, or at least one that did not require a suspension.
I think that some of what is being discussed and some of what they are going to change or rather enforce, will make a difference. I have some ideas of my own, and within the next few days I’ll have a post on this site about them. Until then, it’s business as usual. More after the jump.
