Daily Pucking Grind. TGIF. February 25th.

Today’s music selection is Love My Way by The Psychedelic Furs.

Tonight the Florida Panthers will face the Atlanta Thrashers as they close out their four game road trip.  A road trip that had tons of promise at the beginning, but has turned out to be a real let down in the end.  Currently the Panthers are 8 points out of the eight position and 8 points out of the 15th slot in the Eastern Conference.  There’s too much ground to make up so don’t get your hopes up.

Here’s your Friday links:

George Richards has more on the trade of Cory Stillman and the first bag skate of Pete DeBoer’s coaching tenure in three years (that I’m aware of).  Why skate these guys hard now?  should have happened many games ago.  On Frozen Pond.
