If you’re going to the Florida Panthers game tonight, please be in your seat promtply by 7:00 P.M. It’s Bill Torrey Tribute Night and you don’t want to miss it. Also, there’s going to be some line changes tonight with some surprises. Yea like Little Stevie still on the first line. George Richards from On Frozen Blog has details.
One again Elliotte Friedman’s 30 thoughts column is back. Nice comments about the Panthers, and interesting ones about the Calgary Flames.
In light of the Rick Rypien incident the other night, Justin Bourne says that NHL players shouldn’t have to tolerate fan abuse.
Maybe Mike Milbury can set things straight about Rypien. Yea, right.
Think the Florida Panthers have attendance problems, well here’s what less than 7,000 fans at a Phoenix Coyotes game looks like.
Down Goes Brown tells us about some upcoming NHL milestones this year. Wait till you see the one about Jacques Martin. Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Gary Bettman reportedly called the fan that Rick Rypien grabbed the other night to talk about the suspension and fine that was handed out by the NHL.
Finally, some of you may know that my favourite baseball team is the Baltimore Orioles. The team that I hate in baseball is of course the New York Yankees. I came across this video from the 1996 O’s-Yanks playoff series where that little f*$k Jeffrey Maier interfered with a ball hit to right field. It was called a homer. IT WAS NOT! Every time I watch it which isn’t very often I want to throw up. I usually throw something against the wall instead.
Preview of tonight’s tilt coming soon.
Thanks for reading.
