What's A Party If You Can't Have Friends?

Monday Link Party!

The title of this Monday post seems to be changing constantly.  I just haven’t been overly happy with any of the previous titles, so I decided to go with this one.  Whadda think?

I did more than enough ranting last week, especially with my post on Saturday.  So instead of me giving you 10 items that have been on my mind, I’m just going to stick to some links instead.  I don’t feel like giving you any more rat poison.

Here’s what you may have missed last week while you were on the phone with your Florida Panthers ticket representative getting the “Fair-Weather” fan ticket deal.

Starting off with a little humor, Intent To Blow tells us how Jaroslav Halak had a little lesson with Carey Price before heading back to St. Louis.

I’m really rooting for Jonathan Cheechoo to stick with the Dallas Stars.  Hopefully he will.  ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun talks about his tryout.

Four Habs Fans relates the signing of Jeff Halpern as the beginning of a minyan before Rosh Hashana.

Players on Twitter.  Dangerous?  Maybe.  Sometimes they get stuck with their foot in their mouth.  Bourne’s Blog takes a look at two contrasting players and how they handle things.

For all of you Southeast Division Fans, View From My Seats had a blogger roundtable for all the teams.  Donny Rivette from Litter Box Cats was the Panthers representative.

Laura from The Active Stick is now a contributor for FanSided’s NHL main page, Too Many Men On The Site. Here’s her extremely insightful post about the Ballad Of Dan Ellis.  Very good read.

Kevin from Stay Classy found a press release regarding NHL’s announcement for the Center Ice package.  As always, very classy.

Former Edmonton Oiler Captain, Jason Smith got himself into a bit of trouble last week.  We never like hearing about this kind of thing, and while I’m not here to pass judgement, I hope that it gets straightened out.

The NHL players union is about to get themselves a new boss.  Donald Fehr looks to be the guy.

Down Goes Brown is now a proud father of a son and a new Toronto Maple Leaf Fan.  Read about his first discussion with his little guy.

James Mirtle who works for the Globe and Mail, writes on Puck Daddy about his strategies for winning your fantasy pool.  Good stuff.

Ryan from Red Light Hockey District has a great review for all you gamers out there on NHL ’11.  Plus a great image of Johnny Toews!

Mike Comrie, or Mr. Duff has a new address which is now in Pittsburgh.  Hockey Is My Boyfriend talks about what the Duff couple can expect, or need to get adjusted to.

That will wrap it up for today.  Coming up hopefully this week, or not, will be my Florida Panther season preview, which I’m sure you’re all looking forward to.  As well as my conference predictions.  Also, a special post that I’m working on with another writer on newly acquired Chris Higgins will be appearing hopefully within the next couple weeks.

Thanks for reading.
