Editors are a British indie rock band based in Birmingham (England) formed in 2002.   They were originally known as Pilot, and The Pride and Snowfield.   They are made of of four band members led by vocalist Tom Smith.

They’ve released three albums so far with the first two (The Back Room and An End Has a Start) going platinum.  Their third album, “In This Light and On This Evening” was released in October 2009.   They’ve been compared to Echo & The Bunnymen, Joy Division and Interpol.

Here they are performing the song “Pappillon” live on Later With Jools Holland.
