Who Will It Be?

The Future Begins Tonight!

As we all know the NHL Draft is tonight and we are all awaiting to see what the Florida Panthers end up doing.  With a glutton of picks in the first two rounds, rumors are flying about what’s going to happen.  Dale Tallon has been busy working the phones and attempting to improve the Panthers position, as well as work a trade or two.

It seems that we are holding on to the number three pick, since Dale’s valiant attempts to move up have apparently been sqaushed.  Who will we take?  Cam Fowler  or Eric Gudbranson, both defencemen?  Or will there be a surprise?  Can’t tell you, as no one seems to know for sure.  It’s all speculation at this point, with both names floating around as potential picks for us.

As far as the trade market goes, we have extra defensemen and Keith Ballard’s name continues to pop up.  Anaheim and St. Louis are teams that have expressed interest in him.  If there was a way to swing a deal for Anaheim’s Bobby Ryan, that would be really sweet.  Anaheim is having trouble signing the gifted left winger, and he would look really nice in a Panther sweater.  Another name that I heard that could interest Tallon is Patrik Berglund  from St. Louis.  He’s young and big, at 6′-3″.  He did have a down year last year, but he could be the big young center that we need.

The fun begins tonight at 7:00 P.M.  We are hosting a live Chat on our NHL Main Page Too Many Men OnThe Site!

Please make sure you join us for that at 7:00 P.M. Eastern.

Thanks for reading.  I’ve got a busy day ahead, and am really looking forward to the balance of the day.  I hope that something really great happens!

Thanks for reading.
