Panthers To See Old Friends

Still A Weird Photo

The 2010-2011 NHL Schedule will be out later today, but we know this much:

The Florida Panthers will open the season on a Western Canadien road trip, with their first game in Edmonton against the Oil and potentially Taylor Hall or Tyler Seguin.  Then they’ll travel to Calgary to play the Flames and then off to Vancouver to face Bobby Lose and the Canucks!

The home opener will be Saturday October 16th against cross state rival Tampa Bay and Steven Stamkos.

So right off the bat it’s a not only a brutal schedule, but a talent filled one.  It will be a real test to see how they respond to the west coast side of things as trips like these usually spell doom for east coast teams.

The rest of the schedule will be out later today.

As far as the Horton Rumors go, they are still swirling.  Odds are he’s not gonna be here.

More later.
