Monday Morning Reading

The regular season is over but that doesn’t mean that our work is done.  Now with the offseason here, there is still news to report.  Summer is busy in the NHL with the draft, free agnecy and potential trades to report on.  So never fear, keep visiting every day.  There’s always something to report.

If you haven’t been over to our new NHL Main Page:  Too Many Men On The Site, you need to go there everyday.  We have a total of 10 writer’s covering many different aspects of the NHL daily.  I think this is a great site and you should bookmark it for reading everyday.

Our own Jeff Bartl who is our lead writer for Blackhawk Up  has a terrific post up about what Chicago winning the Stanley Cup means to him.  As a former Chicagoan, I couldn’t agree more.

Eugene Markman over at Broad Street Buzz  has some questions and a couple final thoughts on the Stanley Final and the Philadelphia Flyers.  He’s not a fan of one of the Hawks.  Read on to find out.

Ducks Daily Blog writer Sue Lee has her version on the the Stanley Cup Final game.  A couple videos to see as well. Her insight is always worth reading.

Tim Redinger at Sabre Noise brings back a column that he used to do back when he first started writing for FanSided.  The Daily Dasherboard is worth taking a look at.

Cardiac Cane writer Wesley Taylor posted a piece about the summer news in Carolina.  They had a strong finish to an otherwise disappointing season.  What’s next on the horizon?

Eye on Isles and Gary harding pay a nice tribute to the Chicago Blackhawks for winning the Cup.  Just another FanSided blogger congratulating a team and city that deserves it.

There’s a great story about Ottawa Sun reporter Bruce Garrioch and CBC’s Ron MacLean at SenShot.  Bobby Zijiac will explain his a brief story on both.

Big news in Tampa as Guy Boucher has been hired as the new Head Coach.  Changes and improvements to come for sure.  Dustin Staggers at Bolts By The Bay  has the story.

Flame For Thought and Dave Parkinson give a your welcome to the Blackhawks for winning the Stanley Cup.  Somehow pointing to a game early in the season that may have put the Hawks on their way.

Jake Bennett our lead writer at Mile High Sticking  has some end of season notes regarding the Colorado Avalanche.

Blackout Dallas and Austin Waldron took a pregame look at game six of the Finals.  I like how he mentioned the NBA right off the bat!

Brian Harwell our Detroit Red Wings writer has a post about Jason Willians and his future with the Wings.  Check out Octopus Thrower where he’s been doing a great job fo us as the new lead blogger.

Rink Royalty takes a look at the NHL Draft that’s coming up in a few weeks.  Gavin Humes will have a first hand view of the event as he was able to get himself some tickets to the event.

Defence was a problem for the Vancouver Canucks this past season.  Lorenzo at The Canuck Way  thinks that Vancouver should go after Nashville D-man Dan Hamhuis.

Blades of Funny gets serious again!  Oh, oh.  I hope he’s ok!

Not sure how to pronounce Big Buff’s name?  Bloge Salming  has a video tutorial sort of, to help you.  YOU MUST WATCH!

Not sure what to do now that hockey is over?  Down Goes Brown  has a few ideas to make your off season go a little faster.

Justin Bourne at Bourne’s Blog  has another great article, this one about the Hawks winning the Cup and some video too.

Seems to be a riff between Jason Spezza and Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray.  Stay Classy got their hands on the actual transcript of a conversation between them.
