Monday Morning Reading

Great week in our sport last week.  Conference finals are heating up, and the draft is almost here.  Lots of good stuff.

Here’s some of what you may have missed around the Fan Sided Network  and a few other sites too.

Tim Connolly was supposed to be big things for Buffalo.  Sabre Noise  thinks all he’s become is a Black Sheep.

Cardiac Cane is doing reviews of Hurricane players.  This past week he did a nice job on Jussi Jokinen.

A player with a lot of promise and a father who played in the NHL as well, Jeff Tambellini hasn’t exactly caught on yet.  Here’s Eyes On Isles  with a review.

SenShot  hands out some end of season awards for the Ottawa Senators.  You might be surprised on a couple.

It’s not too often a blogger gets a chance to be interviewed.  Usually we’re the one’s trying to get some time with someone in our sport’s hemisphere.  Broad Street Buzz  however was on ESPN Radio last week.  Good for you Eugene! It’s always nice to be recongnized.

What’s going on with Evgeny Malkin in Pittsburgh?  Trade talk and all sorts of rumors.  Pens Labyrinth  will try and sift through the madness for you.

Editor In Leaf  gives a thorough preview of the Eastern Conference Finals between Montreal and Philadelphia.  Although as of today, his predication could be a little off.

Niklas Backstrom of the Washington Capitals is a rich kid now!  Captials Outsider talks about the happiness of his deal.

Daily Ducks Blog  has a few one liners that were accumulated during a playoff game last week.  She also got some comments about them too.  Again, nice to get noticed for good work, eh?

Jim Playfair has had some interesting travels over the last couple years.  Is he on the road again?  Flame For Thought  has an idea.

As if you don’t get enough Blackhawks stuff from me, here’s our Hawks blogger at Blackhawk Up defending, rightfully so the play of Marian Hossa.

A quick preview of the Conference Finals by Blackout Dallas, as he looks briefly at each series.

What does the future hold for Scum Red Wings defenceman Niklas LidstromOctopus Thrower has his opinion.  Sorry about the four letter word there, but you know, it’s a Chicago thing.:)

L.A. Kings assistant coach Mark Hardy finds himself in a bit of trouble with the authorities.  Rink Royalty  tells you what’s goin’ on.

Blades of Teal  and Blackhawk Up had a little Q & A regarding their playoff matchup.  Check it out.

Wanna know how passionate Canucks fans are?  Go to The Canuck Way  for his report.  Although the first sentence kind of worries me.

To get a look at this years top prospect’s in the upcoming NHL draft, go to The College Hockey Blog  for some good analysis.

Blades of Funny gets together again with Vladimir Sharapov and talks hockey.  Seems like he’s on a rant about something.

Down Goes Brown would like you all to know what the Commish, Gary Bettman does all day.  He has it on video.

The boys over at Four Habs Fans are surrounded by something that I’d rather not print.  Just go there and find out what’s got them a little pissed off!

I know another  Habs blog to read, but really, The Active Stick  does such good work!

Here’s a new place to go for some hockey viewpoints.  Red Light District  wonders if San Jose or Montreal can make a comeback.

Beards, mulletts, goatee’s, there’s all sorts of wacky stuff that hockey players do in the playoffs.  Stay Classy  takes a look at the different haircuts you can have.

Justin Bourne is a former player and a blogger that I try to get to daily.   So should you.  Great insight.

Thanks for reading.
