Out since October 24th from the hit by Flyers captain Mike Richards, Panthers forward David Booth will make his return to the ice Sunday afternoon at home against the New York Islanders! Booth was the Panthers leading goal scorer last year and we all know that goals are what the Panthers need right now. I will be very curious to see how much ice time he gets and what situations he’ll be used in. Will he be on the first line with Weiss and Frolik? On the second with Reinprecht and Olesz, or the third?
Now let’s not get too carried [...]

Saturday Song of The Week
Kasabian is a British indie rock band that formed ten years ago and went by the name Saracuse. The first song I ever heard from them was this one here called “Where Did All The Love Go”.
The song has some pretty good lyrics which you’ll just have to listen to and find out for yourself.
Thanks for listening.
Cheers

Not a great time for your struggling offence to take on the red hot Washington Capitals, but nonetheless, that’s what we’ll have on deck tonight in the Nation’s Capital. The Florida Panthers will bring their dull, boring, and offensively challenged unit into D.C. tonight as they take on a Caps team that has won 8 games in a row, which is their best consecutive win streak since way back in 83-84, when I was ……oh, nevermind. Just know that I was slightly beyond my teeneage years at that point. You do the math from here.
While the Panthers have been playing this ugly and [...]

If the NHL is thinking of making any tapes to promote their game, please throw this one out of the one’s for consideration. Tuesday night it was a battle contest of two teams, one that was built by Jacques Martin, the other one coached by Jacques Martin. Not quite the mixture or recipe for excitement mind you, but the end result favored the Florida Panthers as Shawn Matthias scored two goals including one on a penalty shot, and Tomas Vokoun once again was a brick wall.
Who says that winning has to be pretty? Certainly not the Florida Panthers, but with [...]

I love it when an original six team comes to town. I especially love it when it’s a Canadian team (or the Black Hawks of course) since the atmosphere will be almost playoff like. With a potentially full house, although most of the fans rooting for the other side, tonights game matching the Montreal Canadians and the Florida Panthers will create some buzz here in Florida.
The Panthers who are hanging around if you will, despite all their recent injuries, are about to attempt to go for their third straight shutout at home, something that has never happened before. Talk about riding your [...]
