We are going to take another crack at Rink Side Rants over at Sabre Noise tonight at 9:00 P.M. EST. I’m looking forward to discussing some hot topics around the NHL tonight with host Tim Redinger. Tune in!
Tomorrow night at “The Bank“ Panthers defenceman Bryan McCabe will be honored before the game for playing in his 1,000 th NHL game. A terrific accomplishment for him. Here’s a nice story by Steve Gorten at the Sun-Sentinel about Bryan and his career. In the article McCabe credits former Leaf Mats Sundin and former Leaf and Panther Gary Roberts, one of my all time favorites for his longevity.
Also tomorrow there will be a major announcement regarding the Florida Panthers and a partnership agreement. Many feel this will be an announcement of majority owner Alan Cohen stepping down. Could be true, however, I wish that Head Coach Peter DeBoer didn’t have to be involved. There’s a big game at night that he needs to be preparing for.
That’s it for now. Tune in to Rink Side Rants if you get a chance, and look for the game day preview in the morning!
Thanks for reading.
Cheers
