Sexton has his hands tied to a certain extent, but if in the next few games, Horton, Weiss, and even Vokoun start to look good, that's the opportunity to make a move. Let's face it, we aren't going anywhere with these guys, and we can't build a team around them either. I really like Vokoun and feel he is a better goalie than he has shown, but I think he would gladly waive his NTC to get out of here. Really they won't know until he starts working out. That will hurt, but it's not like he's been lighting it up this season. No one knows yet how long Dvorak will be out and as he's the team's best penalty killer, that could actually be worse than losing Booth. My hope is the kids that come up from Rochacha start pushing the rest of the team and maybe they play better. But I won't be surprised if instead the rest of the team drags them down. That right there is going to hurt. An honest fan will admit that with a team that has difficulty scoring as is, this could really put the panthers season in serious jepordy.
