Tomorrow, Sunday Bruce Springsteen and the Legendary E Street Band will be performing at the Bank Atlantic Center, and of course yours truly will be attending. This will be my 15th(?) Bruce concert and as always I am looking forward to it.The song today features a band also from New Jersey like Bruce.
The Gaslight Anthem, performing their hit ’59 Sound’ with Bruce. According to a story I heard on the radio a month or so ago, apparently Bruce’s son Evan was listening to them and asked “Dad” to take a listen. As the story goes, Bruce liked these guys so much he had them open for him at one of his shows in Europe. Pretty cool, since for the most part, no one opens for Bruce.
